About the Role:  
We are offering Part Time hours; seeking applications from Personal Carers for current vacancies based across several Residential Homes based at our Chermside campus. There are a variety of shifts available across the morning, afternoon and night. Flexibility to work various shifts is ideal. Day-to-day you will:
  • Work as part of a team to provide personal care in a neighbourhood/ community like environment for residents
  • Assist residents to attain and maintain their optimum degree of independence, dignity, privacy and quality of life
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of information about resident care and wellbeing through appropriate channels to the Registered/ Clinical Nurse or Facility Manager
  • Take a proactive approach to the health and safety of residents, staff and visitors and share ideas for improvement
About You
Our Personal Carers are passionate about what they do, are driven by a career with purpose and vital to our model of care for all residents. For your application to be considered, we look for the following skills, qualifications and experience:
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (or working towards)
  • Excellent communication skills enabling you to communicate effectively with residents, team members and visitors
  • Ability to understand and follow through with instructions, processes and procedures in a busy environment
  • Basic knowledge of technology
