We have a unique opportunity for a highly experienced Carer/Housekeeper to attend to the requirements of an elderly couple at their private home located in Geelong, Victoria.
We are seeking a mature and caring individual who possesses strong empathy with elderly people, along with excellent attention to detail, reliability and trustworthiness.
This position will be a live-in permanent position on a 7-day fortnight (4 nights x 1 week, 3 nights 2nd week on rotation) with the following tasks and responsibilities required:
- General household cleaning including laundry, linen, kitchen, bathrooms and living areas;
- Food preparation as required;
- Regular chores outside the house including shopping, dry cleaners etc;
- Some personal care including showering assistance;
- Other household tasks as required.
Previous experience as an elderly carer within private residences is highly desirable, with a current drivers’ licence and flexibility essential.
We offer a generous salary which will be negotiated and excellent working conditions.
