About the role:
We are currently seeking experienced Personal Care Assistants to work on one of our programs in Darley, specifically focusing on providing care for an individual with complex care needs. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who require specialised care and support around the clock. You will be required to work overnights, and potentially weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Travelling to our client’s home to assist with all aspects of care to ensure that their daily needs are met.
- Assisting with Personal Care as required.
- Assist with meal preparation and domestic duties.
- Providing person-centred care with a focus on dignity, safety, and well-being.
- Maintaining clear communication channels and promptly reporting any changes in client’s health status.
About you:
- previous experience working with individuals with complex care needs, preferably in a 24/7 care setting.
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or equivalent qualification.
- Current First aid and CPR certification.
- NDIS worker screening check or a valid Police check.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
