Our client is a long established & well-regarded law firm with several office locations across Melbourne, now looking for a motivated Lawyer for their eastern suburbs office. About this role...
Based in the eastern suburbs, here you will have the opportunity for an appropriate level of autonomy working with clients in relation to a variety of Personal Injury matters (eg. WorkCover, TAC, Public Liability). Some of the responsibilities may include assisting with:-

• Interviewing clients and taking instructions;
• Providing/drafting of advice;
• Managing claims/files;
• Drafting of documentation (eg. applications, orders, affidavits; disclosure/discovery);
• Attending mediations/negotiations; conciliations conferences as required;
• Liaising with clients, lawyers, insurers, doctors, investigators, financial advisors etc.

Supported by experienced practitioners, you will further develop your skillset and have the opportunity for genuine career growth within a well respected law firm. Here you will also have a more manageable file load where the KPIs are more realistic.
About the ideal candidate...
Ideally, the successful candidate will have some previous experience/exposure to TAC, WorkCover, Public Liability matters (eg. 2-4 years post admission); be client focussed, have strong drive & enthusiasm, together with a positive 'can do' attitude and ambition to succeed.
