About the role
Operating from our National Contact Centre, the Personal Loan Delivery Consultant will work to connect with members and their personal lending needs. You will process applications from application to verification and formal approval in accordance with all current lending policies and procedures within the service level agreements set. You’ll operate flexibly and engage with our members through the multiple channels e.g., Virtual, online, and inbound phone to deliver a seamless omni-channel experience.
Our contact centre teams split their time working from home and in our contact centre in our Flinders Street head office, giving you flexibility and the best of both worlds.
We’re here for our members, and that means we need to be around to take their calls and help them out on weekdays between the core hours of 9:00am – 9:00pm and weekends between 8:30am – 4:30pm. We are seeking applicants with full flexibility across the working week. We get that you have things to do on the weekend, so we share the love (weekend shifts) around. Penalty rates apply for late shifts and weekend work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build relationships with our members to identify opportunities to promote the Credit Union’s products to achieve their needs
- Contribute to personal lending growth through the efficient management of Personal Loan enquiries and applications through to verification and formal approval across multiple channels including virtual, online, and inbound phone.
- Contribute to personal lending growth by proactively connecting with members and engaging in quality conversations about their personal lending and other financial needs.
- Adhering to all current policies and procedures
- Contributing to a successful team environment

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high levels of customer service
- Demonstrated experience in following strict policy and procedure
- Role model a positive and proactive, results focused, ‘can do’ attitude and behavior
- Ability to work within a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Decision making, problem solving and dispute resolution skills
