This is a Product Manager role, working in the Personal Lending team reporting to Personal Lending lead. As a Product Manager, you will:Be responsible for the effective management and monitoring of our Personal Loans products including management of the end-to-end value chain.Act as an SME on our products and ensure our products, systems and processes are fit for purpose in a way that supports external and internal regulatory compliance.Be responsible for ensuring completion of core product management tasks and activities in line with the Product Management Policy..Have a good understanding ANZ's risk management framework and work with value chain partners to ensure product processes documented and controls are operating effectively.Use Voice of Customer to identify customer pain points, implement solutions and track performance to ensure better customer experience.Continually review product progress against the key product metrics. Use data to identify opportunities to drive incremental revenue and/or reduce costs and work with value chain partners to improve performance.As a senior member of the Product Team, you will also guide a small team of Journey Experts/Product Support Managers to guide them on “how” to work. You will be responsible for their professional development supporting their capability and mastery. You will also contribute to the development of Personal Loans product strategy.Role Location: 833 Collins Street, DocklandsRole Type: Permanent, Full-timeWhat will you bring?To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
  • Good understanding of lending products, preferably Personal Loans and an excellent understanding of product management including ANZ's Product Management Policy and requirements.
  • Background and experience in product, risk or compliance roles within financial services, including proven ability to assess risks associated with products & processes
  • Strong relationship building skills and be able to work in cross functional teams to embed quality outcomes
  • Analytical & problem-solving skills to understand the detail of events and issues and subsequently design and deliver the appropriate response at pace
  • A good understanding the Financial Services industry including the relevant regulators and governing frameworks
  • Strategic capability - create and translate strategic directive into actionable initiatives
  • Experience in delivering across our ANZ channels
