The Position
As a Personal Trainer your role is to deliver 6-star tailored personal training experiences, utilising the most recent, evidence-based practices for members or guests. In addition to working with your own client portfolio, you will also assist with group fitness sessions that align with your skillset (e.g. S&C, Pilates, yoga, breathwork and/or cycle).
Working both independently and within a team of fitness professionals, you will be supported by a group of knowledgeable, team-focused, growth-minded people in a rewarding work environment. supports your career development with education, training and access to some of Australia’s best athletes and coaches.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Deliver exceptional private and semi-private training sessions and tailored programs that work toward member or guest(s) goals
- Instruct group fitness classes specific to your skill set (e.g. S&C, Reformer Pilates, Yoga etc)
- Attend team meetings and workshops to ensure a strong connection with the wider team
- Gain a thorough understanding of our offerings
- Contribute to the member or guest journey by creating a positive atmosphere, answering facility-based questions and recommending methods or techniques for improving fitness or overall wellbeing
To be successful in this role, we require someone with the following skills and characteristics
- Proven success as a Personal Trainer or within a group fitness space is essential
- Has completed a Certificate 3 & 4 in Fitness
- Holds a current valid First Aid & CPR certifications
- Able to project energy, motivate others and communicate effectively
- Flexibility to work within a team environment across a 7-day roster
- Proven skills in programming workouts and training blocks
- Technologically savvy
- A willingness to learn and stay up to date with the latest in health and wellbeing trends and our offerings
- Relationship builder with a guest/member/team first attitude
- Conducts themself with integrity by being honest and genuine
- Professional image to represent the wider team and the brand
