What You Will Be Doing
As a Skilled Blow Moulding Technician, you will be responsible for multiple duties across PET Blow Moulding Machines, specialising in the manufacturing of plastic bottles.
These duties will include:
Performing machine start-up and shutdowns
Prepare, install, set and run Blow Moulding
Participate in changeovers, ensuring efficient & correct execution
Able to process, operate, troubleshoot and monitor all stretch Blow Moulding machines in department including auxiliary equipment.
Competent in mould changes and understand insert changes
Propose and participate maintenance for manufacturing equipment used for production processes to assure uninterrupted & optimal operations
The ideal candidate for this position will have minimum two years experience in a similar role however applicants from all levels of experience are encouraged to apply!
What you will need
Expert-level knowledge of any of the following: Husky, Sidel, Krones or similar Blow Moulding equipment
Expert hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical knowledge, troubleshooting, fault finding and problem solving skills
Excellent understanding of polymer materials
Experience with engineering polymers
Passion for excellence and continuous improvement
Strong eye for detail
Self-motivation and initiative
Be physically fit to cope with manual handling
Forklift license is essential
