Key knowledge and experience
- You have demonstrated experience in onshore well, completion or production engineering including design, construction, integrity management and abandonment.
- You demonstrate ongoing professional development through networks and or/member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers or registered professional engineer or equivalent.
- You have experience with shift work, on call or after-hours roster arrangements.
- Tertiary qualification in Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, is mandatory
- The successful candidate for this role will also be eligible for RSHQ support in completing industry leading Well Engineering Competency Program (equivalent to the Shell Round 2 Wells Distance Learning Package)
- The successful candidate is also to complete a government sponsored training course equivalent to Certificate IV (Investigations) within 18 months of commencement.

- Recommended applicants will be asked to consent to a criminal history check.
- The person appointed to this position will be required to undertake field work providing incident response and exercising statutory powers to work sites across Queensland, including remote locations.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
