We are looking for a full time resource to assist with drafting tasks at our client's state of the art manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

• Main drafting is layouts and piping & instrumentation diagrams
• Some documentation writing
• Consolidate all drawings – store in the drawing folder based
• Determine which drawings should be ‘baseline’ drawings
• Baseline selected drawings (baseline meaning – transfer consultant drawing to company title blocks, new drawing numbers, some re-tagging of equipment, some minor amendments/additions to layouts)
• Mostly, taking existing drawings and transferring to company template - no drawing from scratch
• AutoCAD is main tool; Revit also used

About You:

• 5+ years experience in a drafting role
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is required
• Experience with Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID)
• Able to assist in set up and administration of a drafting office

Nice to haves:

• Food & Dairy or Pharmaceutical industry exp
• Chemical/Process engineering background is preferred
• The position will be for an initial 6 month but likely to extend longer term depending on the candidate.
• Role is onsite minimum 4 days a week on site – City Location
• Standard hours are 38 a week with overtime paid with penalty rates.
