This includes the provision of high quality frontline clinical support; standardisation and optimisation of antimicrobial use; monitor, promote and maintain systems that support the quality and cost-effective use of antimicrobial agents and a reduction in antimicrobial resistance rates, morbidity and mortality. Perform or supervise those tasks of drug distribution necessary to ensure the safe and quality use of medicines. Provide clinical pharmacy services, education and research activities.How to Apply

Registration: Full and unrestricted Pharmacist Registration with AHPRASelection Criteria * Demonstrated proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to liaise with health professionals and external service providers
- Demonstrated extensive experience in hospital pharmacy practice particularly in Infectious Diseases and/or antimicrobial stewardship
- Demonstrated excellent therapeutic knowledge and ability to exercise a high level of initiative in the application of evidence based pharmaceutical principles to clinical practice
- Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work and manage time to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to effect practice change
- Willing to work on weekends, on-call as per departmental rosters
