Our pharmacy, Chemist Discount Centre Officer is currently seeking a Pharmacist to join this customer focused, fun and passionate team. 

Pharmacy Background:  

We are community Pharmacy located in the suburb of Officer, Victoria, trading 7 days a week. We have established a strong customer base by focusing on building customer relationships, providing great service, and offering an array of professional services.  

Our pharmacy Chemist Discount Centre Officer is part of the successful Prime Pharmacy Group, who have 20 stores Nationally. 

The Role: 

You will be working closely with a team of experienced pharmacists, pharmacy assistants and dispensary technicians. 

You will support this highly motivated team in running a busy dispensary which does approximately 300+ scripts using Fred Dispense Plus. Along with providing outstanding customer service to all customers, you will assist with the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient dispensing of prescriptions and professional counselling of patients
• Assisting customers and supervise staff with OTC product knowledge and health advice
• Provision of vaccination services (if applicable) 
• Provision of pharmacotherapy services 
• Supervising the team when required
• Assisting with the smooth and efficient running of the dispensary and front of shop
• Work to team, company and individual goals 
• Work closely and build relationships with other health professionals in the area
• Adhere to all QCPP requirements along with following the stores Policies and procedures

Experience Required:

We seek an enthusiastic and passionate Pharmacist to step into this role with drive, passion and a vision to help support the growth of the Pharmacies’ services, script numbers and overall business. Your love for community pharmacy will enable you to help continue to build this business, whilst building strong working relationships with the customers, the community and the team.

• Current AHPRA Pharmacy Registration 
• Membership with a Professional Indemnity Insurance provider
• Immunization qualification and experience will be a bonus however not mandatory
• Experience of Fred Dispense Plus would be favorable
• Medadvisor experience would be favorable
• Suremed experience would be favorable
• Ability to work a combination of the above mentioned days and hours ie Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday or weekends
