Form of workFriendly Care Pharmacy has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant to join the team at our Burleigh pharmacy. You will work with a motivated, professional team delivering excellent customer service. We can offer you a flexible work environment, the position for the right candidate up to 30 hours casual per week, with the view to a permanent part-time position, the pharmacy trades Monday to Friday, and an occasional weekend shift.
Pharmacy Assistant - will provide exceptional customer service, and may have the following key responsibilities, depending on the role:
- Merchandising of stock
- Stock control/ordering
- Administration functions as directed
- Basic knowledge of excel and word
- Cash handling and register/EFTPOS operations
- Assisting customers in product selection
- Assisting in accepting prescriptions
- Providing advice on over the counter medicines - training supplied
- Certificate II community pharmacy or previous pharmacy experience
Previous pharmacy experience is not essential, but retail experience is essential.
