Pharmacy Assistant (Dispensary Based)

The Pharmacy Assistants role is to support the Pharmacist and team members to deliver a high quality of care, advice and education to our patients in a timely and efficient manner. This role is ideally full time but may be part-time for the right candidate and includes some rostered Saturdays. You will work very closely with the pharmacist in the dispensary and will need to communicate well with all team members. 

This role will be responsible for:

• Serving customers in a timely manner
• Receiving and processing prescriptions
• Assisting in non-prescription pharmacy sales
• Filing and consolidating paperwork daily in preparation for claiming
• Assisting with the preparation of dose administration aids

• Experience in pharmacy with Z software is preferred but not essential 
• Clear communication
• Excellent customer service and a caring nature
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable and punctual
• Basic computer skills
