Watsons Chemists is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Assistant/Store Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves approximately 20 hours per week and offers a fantastic opportunity for a pharmacy professional with a passion for customer service and store management.
This is role has dual responsibility as our Pharmacy Assistant and Store Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assisting customers with over-the-counter medications and providing exceptional customer service.
- Assisting the Pharmacist as needed.
- Managing the daily operations of the store, including staff supervision and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- General store housekeeping; ie cleaning, vacuum, mop etc
- Handling MINFOS software for dispensing and inventory management.
- Implementing and maintaining planograms and ticketing.
- Ensuring the store is well-stocked and products are displayed effectively.
- Maintaining accurate records and managing S2/S3 medications.
- Delivery to customers and between stores if required (must have a valid driver’s license)
Our ideal candidate will have
- Previous experience in a Pharmacy Assistant or store management role.
- Proficiency with MINFOS software.
- Experience with planogram implementation and ticketing.
- S2/S3 training and knowledge.
- A valid driver's license.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- A strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills.
