Pharmacy Manager - Virtual Care (527263)

The role:

The Pharmacy Manager – Virtual Care will:

• Manage a safe and efficient pharmacy support service to Virtual Care services statewide, including Hospital@Home,  HiTH, Care@home and other roles that may be placed under this service.
• Coordinate clinical support, medicines supply and pharmacy administrative support to Virtual Care services.
• Manage and co-ordinate the work of other pharmacy team members of the Virtual Care Pharmacy Service and provide supervision and leadership.
• Provide advice on matters relating to pharmacy to medical, nursing and allied health teams within Virtual Care services.
• Provide professional clinical and logistical leadership statewide on outpatient management related topics of relating to respiratory infectious diseases including COVID-19 and influenza.

The Site:

This role is based in the South at the RHH and Cambridge Virtual Care Office and intrastate travel will be required.

Details of Appointment

Fixed term full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from July 2024 until 30 June 2025

Salary: $120,114 to $130,181 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

• Please note that access to salaries beyond $126,845 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme 
• Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 2022

1. Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
