About the role:
In this role, the Pharmacy Technician will play a pivotal part in ensuring optimal medication supply to ward areas. Their responsibilities will encompass a spectrum of tasks, from dispensing inpatient, discharge, and outpatient medications to ward imprest duties.
They will actively engage in quality improvement activities, striving to enhance processes for increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Through consistent inventory management practices, they will maintain the accuracy of pharmaceutical stock levels, ensuring its usability within the pharmacy.
The Pharmacy Technician will work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy support staff, other members of the multidisciplinary team and patients.
You will receive on the job mentoring and support and you will also have the opportunity to attend both internal and external continuing professional develop opportunities.
About you:
Ideally, will possess a strong work ethic and good attention to detail. You will be a team player, keen to learn and someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
- Completed a minimum of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Certificate IV issued by a Registered Training Organisation in Hospital Pharmacy or Community Dispensary or have qualifications deemed by the employer to be equivalent.
