- Fixed-Term (3 Year contact) Part-Time (24 hours per week).
- Salary Classification: Pharmacy Technician Grade 3 Year 1-2
- Remuneration: $40.92-$42.28 per hour, excluding superannuation.
The Role:
To provide technical support across the full range of pharmacy services offered by Calvary Mater Newcastle, including the sterile manufacturing of chemotherapy drugs.
Your main duties will include:
- Maintenance of all wards and departments imprest stock requirements.
- Assist with maintaining pharmacy stock and pharmacy records associated with clinical trials.
- Regular maintenance of information held on all iPharmacy PDE machines within Calvary Mater Newcastle.
- Assist pharmacists with the dispensing of inpatient, outpatient, discharge, Emergency Department and Clinical Trial prescriptions.

- Demonstrated satisfactory pharmacy dispensing experience.
- Demonstrated attention to fine details and accuracy at work.
- Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and productively as an effective team member.
- Completion of a nationally recognised Pharmacy Technician Certificate Course of Certificate Level IV or equivalent.
