  • Base Salary $95,860 - $103,341 + 17% superannuation

We are currently seeking a Philanthropy and Scholarships, Awards and Prizes Officer who will provide administrative support to the Reporting and Analytics team in Executive Services of the Faculty of Science. You will be responsible for the administration of faculty activities associated with philanthropy management and the application of procedures to set best practice for the establishment, delivery and monitoring of coursework scholarships, awards, and Prizes.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
  • provide support to the Reporting and Analytics team and key faculty stakeholders in the review, administration and management of Faculty Philanthropic activities
  • provide effective oversight and support to key stakeholders and staff in relevant work areas to support scholarship, award, and prize activities
  • build and maintain communication and relationships with key stakeholders
  • undertake other ad-hoc projects and activities.

  • a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or a combination of relevant training and experience,
  • proven experience in developing and maintaining a wide range of stakeholder engagement and managing expectations strategies,
  • experience in both understanding and interpreting Procurement / Finance policies and organisational procedures,
  • administrative experience gained in a tertiary organisation and working knowledge of academic institutions and structures is highly beneficial
  • excellent administrative skills, coupled with a general understanding of the project life cycle, project documentation, project standards and methodologies.
This role will require strong investigative and negotiation skills, please include in your cover letter an example of a situation where you had to use fact finding skills to investigate a problem and negotiate a solution with multiple stakeholders.
