We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated and customer-focused person to join our team as a skilled and dedicated Phone System/Cabling Technician. The role involves installing and maintaining Ericsson LG Phone Systems and installing data cabling as per customers' requirements. We're looking for individuals who thrive in problem-solving environments and are eager to showcase their technical prowess in Phone System servicing and maintenance.
Key Requirements:
- -Proven experience in Phone System repairs and maintenance highly regarded
- -Proven experience with Ericsson LG Phone Systems (desirable)
- -Strong technical aptitude, network IT proficiency and troubleshooting skills
- -Comfortable loading and configuring software on PC’s
- -Ability to quote on Data Cabling Solution from architects plans
- -ACMA open cabling license, including CAT6, Fiber, underground and aerial
- -Working with heights and white card (desirable)
- -Ability to make decisions and work autonomously
- -Versatile and willing to assist with a range of tasks
- -Professional manner and presentation
- -Demonstrated customer service skills
- -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- -Strong time-management skills
- -Desire and willingness to learn and apply new skills across a range of business equipment
- -A positive "can do" collaborative attitude
- -Working with Childrens Certificate and Flu Vaccination
Key Responsibilities:
- -Perform detailed installations and repairs on Ericsson LG Phone Systems and Cabling when required.
- -Utilise basic computer skills and expand upon your networking knowledge as needed.
- -Efficiently load and configure drivers on PCs to demonstrate your technical versatility.
- -Make independent decisions and exhibit a broad range of skills in various scenarios.
- -Travel to customer sites using a provided company car and deliver/install equipment.
- -Respond promptly to service calls and provide timely resolutions to technical issues.
- -Control stock of equipment for data cabling.
