We are seeking talented photographers to join our team and help us capture timeless, evocative memories for the guests at the renowned Tangalooma Island Resort, nestled off the coast of Brisbane in the stunning Queensland region. As part of this exciting opportunity, all necessary photographic equipment will be provided. Exceptional communication skills are an absolute must, as you'll be interacting directly with our valued guests to ensure their special moments are preserved with artistry and care. 🤩

We are a small, happy team of photographers working on the beautiful Moreton Island, a short boat ride from Brisbane. We photograph the cool and exciting events that take place at the Tangalooma Island Resort, (aka Spooky Island from the Scooby Doo movie!) We capture the vibrant atmosphere and unique experiences that visitors can enjoy at this one-of-a-kind destination. From the stunning sunsets over the ocean to the unique events and activities, we strive to showcase the magic of Moreton Island in every shot. As passionate photographers, we feel incredibly fortunate to Work in such a beautiful and captivating location, and we can't wait to capture beautiful memories of all our guests!

This is a unique opportunity for the right person to be selected to join our small team. What we're specifically looking for is:

• AN AMAZING PERSON (With AMAZING camera skills)!
• A SUPER FUN personality
• An energetic, charismatic person
• You don't need to be super fit to work here but a high level of fitness helps! – you will be subject to lot's of walking around in sand, climbing 50m sand dunes and chasing after photo opportunities! An outdoors lover – yep, you'll never need to worry about your tan – you'll see lots of outdoor activity.
• A strong desire to achieve and produce.
• Ability to speak Chinese is an advantage, (but not essential).
• Willing to Live on the Resort (no pets or partners allowed)

If this sounds like you, we're absolutely thrilled and can't wait to hear from you! But before you apply, there are some things (t&c's) you simply must be aware of:

1. You get to Live at the incredible Tangalooma Island Resort (as previously mentioned) - this is a live-in position only, with food and accommodation provided to you at an amazingly reasonable cost! Don't stress, it's unbelievably affordable - meaning you can easily save up for that dream home or, even better, your NEXT CAMERA! Woohoo!
2. As we operate in the exciting world of tourism, we're a 365 day a year business, (even on the big days like New Years and Christmas we're still working hard and having a blast!) Our weekly roster is a bit different, with generally 5 days on, 2 days off, but this won't be your typical weekend like Saturday and Sunday. (Sorry to burst your bubble, but trust us, it's going to be an incredible experience!)

This job may:

• Give you an opportunity to hone your existing skills, maybe even extend them, while learning new ones, including sales skills, professional printing, large format printing, picture framing and canvas mounting, ICC color creation and color management, graphics, videos, social media posting, and Lightroom & Photoshop usage.
• Provide you with the most magical experiences through working on an island and experiencing 'island life'.
• Keep you in shape as you'll climb enough sand dunes, chase around ATV quad bikes, and wade amongst wild dolphins to keep you in tip-top shape!
• Allow you to learn new things, as we're always open to learning and trying new photographic trends and experiences – maybe we can learn together and see if we can use it!
• Enable you to make friends for life. With approximately 350 staff at Tangalooma Island Resort, we all get on famously, and you will too!

• All equipment will be provided to you by us – some of the elements we Work in are quite camera unfriendly – please be nice to our gear though!!!
