About the role
The South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) is looking for an experienced Physical Performance Coach to lead the planning and delivery of the SACA Physical Performance Program for our elite Male squads. You will work collaboratively with the Head Coach to ensure best practice service provision and direction in alignment with Cricket Australia objectives. You will also assist with the planning and delivery of the SACA Physical Performance Program in the male pathway programs and to the other elite squads as required.
About you
- You hold a Bachelor's degree (e.g. Human Movement or Sport Science).
- You have at least 3 years' experience in the provision of S&C services to elite athletes / sporting teams.
- You hold Level 2 accreditation and registration with the Australian Strength & Conditioning Association (ASCA).
- You hold current registration with Exercise Sport Science Australia (ESSA).
- You have great people skills and the ability to build relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
- You have a strong results orientation with the proven ability to plan and deliver programs.
- You will hold a valid Working with Children Check or can obtain one.
It would also be great if you have…
- A Masters level or equivalent postgraduate qualification specialising in Strength & Conditioning.
- A genuine desire to assist elite athletes fulfil their potential.

The SACA is responsible for coordinating international and domestic cricket matches, Premier cricket matches and community carnivals, coaching and development and pathway programs for girls and boys, coaching, umpiring, volunteer development and ground management. It also administers high performance cricket in South Australia, including the West End Redbacks, Scorpions and Adelaide Strikers women's and men's teams.
