Employment Type: Permanent Part TimePosition Classification: Physiotherapist - Level 1/2Remuneration: $35.78 - $51.05 ph (plus super) Hours per week: 8Location: Grenfell, NSW Physiotherapist Grenfell Health Services About the role: The Grenfell Community Health team is a multidisciplinary unit that works closely together to deliver high quality healthcare to the Weddin Shire. You will have the opportunity to work with community health nurses, a social worker, occupational therapist, dietitian and allied health assistant as well as a team of admin and support staff. Physiotherapy support will be provided from the team at Cowra Hospital. As the sole physiotherapist on the team you will be able to choose your day of work and have your own office. Work will be varied and include delivery of exercise classes, one-on-one therapy (including post-operative care, older persons health and neurodegenerative conditions) and sub-acute inpatient therapy. Where you’ll be working: The Grenfell Multipurpose Service (MPS) is a 41-bed facility with acute and sub-acute/non-acute inpatient services, residential aged care services, 24-hour emergency care, respite care and a range of ambulatory, primary and community health care services. The beautiful and former gold mining town of Grenfell is located 372 kilometers west of Sydney on the western edge of the Great Diving Range and two and a half hours’ drive to the nation’s capital Canberra.
