Ashford Hospital is seeking to recruit acute care Physiotherapists to join our Allied Health team. This is a fantastic opportunity in the private healthcare community for highly motivated candidates with extensive skill sets.
· Part time contract for 12 months to cover maternity leave @ 0.4 FTE (negotiable)
· Commencing June 2024
· Possibility for contract extension
· Casual contracts to commence ASAP
· AHP Level 1 or Level 2 (depending on experience)
· Clinical load in acute Care, including CCU, Orthopaedic and Medical/Surgical wards
Ashford Hospital is a private not-for-profit 230 bed hospital. Ashford Hospital offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, general medicine, gynaecology and maternity, oncology, orthopaedics, urology and vascular surgery. Ashford Hospital has 9 operating theatres, 1 procedure room, 2 angiography labs, an emergency department, maternity services and a 24 bed level 3 critical care unit.
Essential Criteria:
· South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance
· Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
· Current Physiotherapy registration with AHPRA
· Experience working in an acute hospital setting
· ICU experience desirable but not mandatory
· Excellent time management and communication skills
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
· Customer focused service delivery
