the role offers an opportunity to provide high quality, evidence-based Physiotherapy services, founded on our philosophy of resident centred holistic care. In your day-to-day role you will be responsible for assessing the physical and psycho-social functioning of residents informing their physical function. You will work alongside residents, and those that are important to them, to identify their physiotherapy goals, needs and preferences to inform resident-led, goal directed care planning within a multiskilled environment that is focused on the reablement of our residents.
Physiotherapists understand how important good physical functioning and heathy aging are to people's sense of well-being. you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality services are provided by the therapy team which meets the physical and pyscho-social needs of our residents. You will benefit from a diverse caseload that allows you to apply a broad range of your core skills including but not limited to assessing, monitoring and making recommendations in relation to Falls, Prevention, trending, analysis, management and post-fall review Musculoskeletal, assessment and management Evidence-based pain management (acute and chronic) Mobility Exercise prescription (Physitrack subscription available) Functional retraining and rehabilitation Equipment provision Health promotion and education Cardiovascular/respiratory rehabilitation Continence, bowl and pelvic health Positioning Manuel tasks and transfers Oedema Management Advocate for residents through supporting choice and mitigating risk processes. Leadership. Training and Education Quality monitoring practices and continuous improvement
