Our centre is an award winning multi-disciplinary facility with a high patient caseload. We have well developed, comprehensive rehabilitation protocols for a range of conditions to support patients and clinicians through treatment. Our surgeons also treat a wide range of orthopaedic trauma and provides services to public and private patients.
We practice a truly multidisciplinary model whereby our allied health team co-consult with leading orthopaedic surgeons. We are an innovative, agile, and dynamic centre seeking to challenge the traditional model of healthcare service delivery and looking for people with a similar mindset to join us on our journey.
We provide the opportunity to work in a large modern facility with a brand new 80m2 rehabilitation gym, on-site X-ray, Ultrasound, and the ability to use the latest medical technologies.
There will be regular mentoring and professional development opportunities and future role expansion also exists with an in-house fracture injury primary management centre.
We are advertising this role as part-time and happy to provide flexibility and will also consider applicants looking for full time work.
About You
We are seeking a highly motivated musculoskeletal physiotherapist to join the team. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently, respectfully, and effectively with patients, staff and the public. You will have a high level of integrity, accountability and be committed to professional and personal growth. You will believe in evidence-based practice and keep up to date with the latest research which will then inform practice.
You will enjoy being a part of a multi-disciplinary team and be passionate about supporting patients towards achieving the best possible clinical outcomes. You will ideally have worked alongside specialists in a clinical setting and can work both independently and collaborative as part of a team. Your patient caseload will be optimised so that you can provide great care and enjoy a healthy work-life balance.
Essential Criteria
- Qualification in Physiotherapy
- Graduate and early career physiotherapists encouraged to apply
- AHPRA registration
- Working with Children Check (WCC)
- SIRA certification (desirable)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Adaptable to a fast paced, ever-changing environment
- Previous work with orthopaedic surgeons (desirable)
