About the role
GV Health is seeking a Physiotherapist to join the Chronic Pain Clinic working 2 days per week.
The chronic Pain Clinic is a continuously developing service for the region with a focus on the assessment, care planning and management of people experiencing Chronic Pain. Team members include a medical specialist, clinical psychologist, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, exercise physiologist, dietitian, allied health assistant, enrolled nurse and Clinical Nurse Coordinator.
To perform this role you will have:
Broad based clinical experience in the area of assessment and management of people experiencing complex health issues and Chronic Pain as well as a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Chronic Pain service delivery across the health sector. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team and a well developed understanding of an evidence based approach to person-centred care, will be well suited to the role.
This role is open to Grade 1 and 2 applicants. New Graduates will be considered. All enquiries welcome.
This position can be combined with the HARP Physiotherapy / Exercise Physiology role to make a full-time position.
