About the Role: Community Health Paediatric Physiotherapist
The Community Health Programs operate from GV Health's Corio Street Campus and provide a range of services and to both adult and paediatric consumers living within the Goulburn Valley region. These include Nutrition & Dietetics, Healthy Mothers/Healthy Babies Outreach Program, Health Promotion, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Sexual Health Nursing, Speech Pathology and Self Management Support services.
An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our supportive multidisciplinary Community Health team. You will be responsible for the delivery of physiotherapy assessment and therapeutic management for paediatric consumers presenting with a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological and developmental conditions. As part of the Community Health Team, you will work alongside established clinicians and be supported by our Team Assistants. Services are delivered primarily in our modern clinic-based setting.
We are looking for:
- Experience in providing physiotherapy assessment, treatment and advice for children presenting with a variety of conditions.
- Sound clinical reasoning skills and comprehensive understanding of the assessment and treatment of a range of musculoskeletal and neurological presentations.
- Well-developed time management and problem-solving skills to prioritise tasks and ensure efficient physiotherapy practice.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including an ability to liaise with a wide range of internal and external providers.
