About the Department of Education:
The Deparment of Education employs over 120 physiotherapists to support students to be successful in all aspects of their learning. We use our knowledge and skills to enable students to be healthy and successful across the full school experience. From positioning in the classroom, to school swimming or going on camp our physiotherapists are a key member of a student's educational team.

About the Role:

Responsibilities include:
- Forming strategic partnerships with schools, allied health professionals and families.
- Identify, assess and implement physiotherapy services relevant to the education setting.
- Providing a consultative service to student's teachers, parents and wider team members
- Participate in specialised projects and share practices and resources with other physiotherapists within the department.
- Travel is a requirement of the role and varies depending on base locations

Mandatory Requirements:
- Possession of a degree in physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution, or other equivalent formal qualifications which, in the opinion of the Director-General, Department of Education, or delegate, are accept.able
- Current registration with the Physiotherapist Board of Australia (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
- Current citizenship, resident or visa status required to be eligible to work in Australia
