Now Careers is partnered with a specialist in the supply and manufacture of steel reinforcement to the building and construction industries, based in Western Sydney.
Due to consistent growth and a strong project pipeline for 2023, our client is steadily expanding and has an opportunity for a production and Logistics Planner to join their team!
About the role
Our client is specialises in the production of reinforced steel bar and mesh for projects in Sydney and NSW. Based in Western Sydney, your role will be to ensure the production department meets all QA and scheduling goals by assisting the production coordinator and logistics coordinator with planning, scheduling, executing and directing production and logistics activities.
- Confirm production schedules and delivery dates with clients.
- Monitor email for production and delivery changes and relay that information accordingly.
- Manage confirmed delivery dates.
- Enter production data into spreadsheets.
- Inventory control and ordering.
- Assist logistics and customer service administrators.
- Manage and address customer queries.
- Report problems to management.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Previous experience working in a similar production or planning role.
- Close attention to detail.
- Excellent interpretation and communication skills.
- Experience liaising with customers, suppliers and contractors.
- Proficient Microsoft office experience (Word, Excel) and willing to learn internal software.
- Competitive salary $70-80K
- Full-time position 6:30am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday
