The Headache and Pain Management Centre is an established clinic located on Stanley St in East Brisbane – a stone’s throw from the famous ‘Gabba’.

If you are a new or recent graduate, then you’ll love our Graduate Launch Program, which ensures that even if you feel like you wouldn't be prepared for Private Practice after your university training, you will be confident from the very first patient you see.

You will enjoy:
- 4 weeks of paid training if you are a New or Recent Graduate, to ensure that you are ready to treat your patients confidently, without the need to feel anxious or nervous.
- Daily mentoring from our experienced team, who have presented at conferences, APA workshops and in-services at other clinics both nationally and internationally
- Our very generous allowances for CPD and expert training courses, including invited guest speakers to our clinic
- Only having to treat a maximum of 8 patients in a row before non-contact time
- Having the time to diagnose your patient accurately and properly, on day one, with our hour-long initial consultations
Job Purpose
The person who wants this job would like:
- to help patients of all ages, and feel great when they get the excellent patient outcomes they have been craving

- to learn about, and implement, the most up-to-date, evidence-based treatment methods and technology – including the MedX Medical Lumbar Extension Machine, Multi-Cervical Unit, Clinical Pilates, Various Approaches to treating Headache and Migraine, dry needling and delivery of gold-standard Pain Education
- to build on their manual handling and communication skills to have patients following through with their treatment plans until they have the results that they want
- to be challenged by a variety of acute and chronic cases, and improve their clinical reasoning so that no patient is ever in the “too-hard basket”.

To be successful you must:
- have a strong interest in treating musculoskeletal and pain conditions
- be coachable, accountable and striving to improve your clinical and communication skills.
- Want full-time work and be available to work on the occasional Saturday.
- Hold current AHPRA registration and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
