Novita Services provides early intervention, rehabilitation, therapy, assistive technology and disability services to more than 5000 people living with disability, as well as support for their families and carers. Our primary purpose is to enable kids, young people and adults living with disability and their families to participate in the community to their full potential.
Novita Health was originally established as Rehabilitation Performance Health in 1986 and has a long-standing reputation for providing best practice care and rehabilitation for customers with musculoskeletal issues, spinal problems including headache management, neck and upper body problems and low back pain, women’s health, arthritis, motor vehicle and work-related injuries.
About the Role
Based at our Kingswood site, you'll be joining our small practice of health professionals that are passionate about working with our clients to achieve the best outcomes for them. Our clinic offers a great team approach and have a family friendly environment with a regular customer base. Reporting through to the Site Manager, this role is a part time permanent position at 42 hours per fortnight working as per following roster (Physiotherapist is expected to undertake full aspect of Roster and days or time are non-negotiable)
Week 1
Tuesday - 12pm- 7pm (6.5 hours)
Thursday- 8am-2pm (5.5 hours)
Friday - 9am- 5 pm (7.5 hours)
Week 2
Tuesday - 12pm- 7pm (6.5 hours)
Thursday- 10am-7pm (8.5 hours)
Friday - 9am- 5 pm (7.5 hours)
About you
Kingswood practice is looking for a customer focused individual who enjoys building strong rapport and trust. You will be required to undertake group Hydrotherapy and Exercise Classes. To be successful in this role you will display the ability to provide a professional standard of care including hands-on therapy and advice on the management of a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions. You will require to have the following skills and attributes:
- Graduate / Postgraduate qualifications in Physiotherapy (AHPRA)
- Experience in Musculoskeletal Therapy, women's health, hydrotherapy & exercise programs
- Proven experience in developing, applying and modifying intervention plans to meet the needs of individual customers
- Ability to demonstrate a strong ethical compass and align to the values of our practice
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills including competency in relevant computing requirements
