Pick Packer/Warehouse Assistant

Lam Brothers Pty Ltd is food distributor servicing major supermarket chain, wholesalers, restaurants and local groceries across Australia.

We are looking for a Pick Packer/Warehouse Assistance to join our team in Sunshine North facility. The primary focus of this role will be the safe and efficient picking & packing of bulk orders for delivery to customers.

Your main duties will consist of the following:

• Picking and despatching of orders
• Forklift driving and order picker work
• Stock receiving
• Container unloading
• Arranging warehouse shelfing
• General warehouse duties
• Assisting light administrative duties such as managing orders from the system, booking in couriers, managing bin pick up.

To be successful in this position you will have:

• At least 2 years warehouse and distribution experience
• Strong OH&S knowledge
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Current Forklift licence essential
• Current valid driver’s licence
• Strong problem solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Customer focused
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• A desire to succeed and be part of a team

This is a permanent fulltime opportunity, however, you will be required to pass a probation.
