The Piggery Attendant (Grow Out) role is dynamic, focusing on the care and maintenance of pig health within eco shelters. The successful applicant will be autonomous in performing established techniques and practices under minimal supervision.Key Responsibilities

• Engage in the upkeep of plant machinery and quarantine adherence.
• Commit to the highest standards of animal welfare and perform everyday husbandry tasks.
• Uphold WHS standards and maintain meticulous herd health records.
• Ensure the cleanliness and functionality of eco-shelter accommodations.

The Ideal Candidate

• Post-secondary education in Agriculture is desirable, along with 3 - 5 years in pig operations.
• A current driver's license is essential; an HR license would be advantageous.
• Proficient in handling farm equipment
• An understanding of livestock production systems.
• Physically capable of performing production roles hands-on.
• Exceptional communication skills, a team player, and someone who brings a positive, "can do" attitude towards the workplace.
