As a Senior Piggery Attendant, you are expected to have a broad understanding of all aspects of the industry with the capacity to oversee the daily activities of other staff, proactively assess situations and take mitigating actions as well as assist the owners with management decisions such as weighing for sale and grain forecasts. As this is a small operation, everyone wears multiple hats, and although there is a set “flow” to the work weeks, no two days will be the same.
In return, our client is offering a large four bedroom farmhouse that is currently having the kitchen renovated. The house has a fully fenced back yard and pets are welcome with prior approval of our clients, subject to biosecurity restraints.
There are several towns within 40 kms offering a choice of public and private schooling, sporting clubs such as netball, football, tennis and a plethora of recreational water activities and camping. Our clients tell us that ample opportunities are available in the nearby towns for partners or older teenagers looking for full or part-time work. Our client is an equal opportunity employer, so all qualified candidates with full working rights in Australia will be considered for the role.
Please note this position is not available to Working Holiday Visa Holders.
Due to the large volume of applications we receive, we will only contact shortlisted applicants.
