Your duties:

• Capable of undertaking a visually compliant tig 6G test.
• Complete the allocated work in accordance with the Welding Procedure Specifications in a timely manner.
• Ensure familiarity with specified Procedures and have copies available at the welding station for reference.
• Ensure that welding is in compliance with all parameters specified.
• Ensure current qualification for any welding procedures being used.
• Authorized to transfer Heat Numbers when cutting materials.

To be successful, you must:

• Have a recognized Welding or Boilermaking qualification.
• Have a minimum of 3 years working as a coded Welder in a Fabrication Workshop or On Site.
• Be an Australian Citizen or have a Permanent Residency.
• Be able to read and understand Welding symbols, Welding procedures, and fabrication drawings.
• Having a Welding qualification is an advantage, but not necessary.
