About the Role:
You will be responsible for the fabrication of process piping including carbon steel and stainless steel.
There are a number of roles available at our Deer Park fabrication workshop.
About you, as a minimum:

- Minimum of 5 years post trade experience in medium to heavy fabrication / construction
- Experienced in structural fabrication or the manufacture of skid mounted packaged equipment
- Experienced in pipe welding
- Ability to complete weld test to GMAW (1G ,2F) /GTAW (6G)
- Experience working with various piping materials (carbon steel and stainless steel)
- Experienced in pipe fitting
- Fitting up spools to supplied isometric drawing
- Ensure completion of required weld & material traceability information
- Able to read technical fabrication and isometric drawings
- High level understanding of manufacturing processes
- Detailed knowledge of fabrication – TIG and MIG
- Knowledge of STT welding (preferred)
- Hold an Australian recognised trade qualification in boiler making and or be a ticketed welder
- Construction industry White Card
- Hold a valid high risk work licence (desirable)
- Valid Australian driver’s licence (manual car licence is a minimum)
- Proof of right to work in Australia
- Strong safety focus and a desire to enhance the site safety environment and culture
- Fluent in written and verbal English
- Pass a drug and alcohol test
