THE ROLE
We are seeking Civil Pit, pipe and cable laying crew members to join our Sydney based team.
Day to day, our crews operate excavators to dig trenches, install pits and pipes, haul and lay cable/conduit, backfill trenches, drive and load/unload tippers/trucks, and perform general labouring duties.
ABOUT YOU
Essential
- Experience working as part of a Civil Pit, pipe and cable laying crew in either electrical, water, gas and/or comms, etc
- Operators must have experience in min 5t up to 24t excavators and must hold relevant qualifications
- Drivers must hold a min MR licence
- White Card
Preferred
- Confined Space ticket (Enter and Work in Confined Spaces)
- Asbestos Awareness ticket
- Dogging ticket
- Forklift ticket
- Identify, Locate & Protect UG Services certificate
- Hydrovac experience
- Current network authorisations would be an advantage
You will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, be able to work in a fast paced crew, and be reliable and committed.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT
Medical: To assess fitness for work, candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical which includes a functional and audio assessment, plus drug and alcohol screening.
Qualifications & Rights to Work: As part of our recruitment process, candidates will be required to provide relevant licences and certificates as well as Rights to Work documentation.
