AddressMatchFit have been engaged by a national engineering consultancy who focus on the resources and renewables sectors here in Australia.
With an extensive amount of work coming through their doors, the order book for the next few years has started to fill up.
Due to this Matchfit have been asked to source a mechanical degree qualified Pipeline Engineer who has experience in Detailed Design of pipeline projects.
This is a Brisbane based role, 12 months minimum work and the successful candidate will be paid on a day rate model.
You will be tasked with:
- Working extensively in engineering activities across the project life cycle (Concept, FEED, Detailed Design) to produce fit for purpose solutions to the clients
- Producing cost effective Pipeline Engineering reports, documents and deliverables
- Supporting and Pipeline Engineers and Designers and provide technical assistance as required
- Providing technical input to business development, early customer engagement, tenders and studies
- Ensuring all assigned work is carried out in compliance with agreed budget and schedule
To be considered for this position you should meet the following criteria:
- Mechanical Engineering degree coupled with experience in a similar Pipeline Engineering role within the brownfields Oil & Gas sector
- Broad understanding of the business drivers for energy sector clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Knowledge of, and experienced in the use of Australian and International codes and standards
- Knowledge of Pipe Stress Analysis and interpretation of report outputs
