About the Role:
In this field based role you will be responsible for delivering operability aspects of the Pipeline Network, with a particular focus on control and operational functionality and general pipeline operational maintenance delivery and logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Complete operations, maintenance and breakdown activities
- Liaise with Gas Processing Facilities, Supervisors to ensure infield activities are engaged, informed and aligned
- Coordination, planning and execution of critical maintenance and pipeline survey activities. (such as pigging activities, NDT activities, Commissioning, CP surveys, Type B Mechanical appliances, Coating repairs)
- Supervision of contractors within field including activities relating to civil, metering, cathodic protection, asset integrity
What will you bring?
- Technical expertise and competence in gas pipeline operations and maintenance
- Trade or similar qualifications
- Knowledge of cathodic protection systems, pigging experience, excavation experience live process plant operation, heavy equipment license, earth moving equipment tickets, large valve maintenance and overhaul, operate and maintain flow and pressure control systems, fabrication experience
- Pipeline Operations and maintenance or similar experience
- Ability to work alone in remote locations, with the ability to work out of a camp situation for extended periods
