Click here for further information on our Commitment to Child Safety:Further information about RCH is available atSenior Registrar - Neonatal Retrieval - Melbourne AUSTRALIAThe Paediatric Infant and Perinatal Emergency Retrieval (PIPER) service is recruiting for full-time or part-time position for 6 or 12 months commencing February or August 2025.These positions are suitable for senior trainees with preferably a minimum of 18 months experience in a tertiary Australian Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or equivalent. Senior trainees with PICU, Anaesthetic or Emergency experience may also be suitable and are encouraged to discuss their suitability with the Director.PIPER Neonatal undertakes 1600 emergency neonatal retrievals per year, by road or air. Training in neonatal and infant emergency transport and neonatology is provided and research is supported and encouraged.PIPER Neonatal is collocated with the PIPER paediatric retrieval service and the perinatal emergency referral service within the new Royal Children's Hospital (RCH). Excellent relationships between PIPER and Royal Women's, the RCH, Monash Children's, Mercy Hospital for Women and Western hospital allows Medical Retrieval Clinicians access to the extensive academic and clinical resources of these hospitals.
