OUR AGENCY VISION
Spark Foundry. Famously Effective. Not one or the other, both. The thrill of the idea made better still by the pride of watching it work. A magnetic combination. Attracting clients that become advocates and talent, driven to deliver. Award winning and business changing. But a vision cannot be realized without the right ingredients.
SPARK FOUNDRY VALUES

  • Allsorts – We believe it takes Allsorts to get magical work. Diverse thinkers and diverse thinking. In what we do and who we are.
  • Art and Evidence – Great ideas are only great ideas if they work. We believe it takes both Art and Evidence to thrive in the industry today. It’s one thing to dream it but another to prove it and it’s only great if you can do both.
  • Royalty Makes Loyalty – There is a return on treating clients and partners like royalty. Nurturing clients’ businesses, listening to their needs and delivering excellence at every step allows us to build lasting and rewarding relationships.
  • Good Humans - Decency in everything we do. Be a Good Human, Always. No matter who you are or who you think you are.

The transformation you will experience:

This role is a Planning & Connections Partner for our Melbourne office. In that role, you will be responsible for exactly that:

• Planning: fostering and facilitating a best-in-class approach to communications planning that is grounded in evidence-based decision making and marketing science

• Connections: working collaboratively with our agency specialisms to connect the dots and deliver implementable actions and tangible outcomes.

You will be a craft specialist that will lead the Planning & Connections discipline in the Melbourne office. In this role, you will act as the red thread that connects our people and products to drive business outcomes for our clients. This will come through both your theoretical knowledge of marketing science and your ability to translate the theory into practice via detailed implementation planning. To fulfil this role, you will need a strong collaborative spirit and genuine interest and appreciation of the various specialisms that sit under one roof at Spark Foundry. With this, it is your job to pull together the best of our specialist thinking into a cohesive narrative and actionable approach to unlock competitive advantage for our clients.

Your scope will include:

• Being a craft specialist: this is a job for someone who want to stay on the tools and thrive deep in the weeds of planning.

• Have a strong analytical understanding: our team works very closely with analytics and your ability to use data in practice is paramount.

• Possess hands on knowledge and experience with planning tools: to plan with rigour, we need to leverage best-in-class syndicated solutions (as well as our proprietary solutions).

• A natural aptitude for problem solving: no matter what the problem, you’ll work collaboratively with internal and external partners to find a way to solve it.

• A willingness to grow and share your ever-expanding knowledge: a rising tide lifts all boats, and to have an agency of proficient planners, a big part of your role will be around learning and development.

• A belief that there isn’t a one size fits all solution: thinking laterally, you will draw on your existing knowledge to push things further and drive continuous improvement.

What you’re looking for

  • A supportive and collaborative culture
  • Clients who are open to be challenged and working progressively.
  • Fulfil your career ambitions in a business large enough to accommodate them - we have one of the best mobility programs GLOBALLY!

What type of person will be successful in this role

• Ideally eight years industry experience

• A demonstrable proclivity and passion for planning

• Experience working with data and analytics and other agency specialisations

• Experience working with large and/or complex clients across a broad cross-section of industries

• Be located in Melbourne
