About the role:
As part of this top tier team you will:
- advise on both front-end and back-end matters;
- work for major developers, infrastructure (road, rail and electricity), government, agribusiness and mining companies both locally and internationally;
- advise on renewable energy projects, mining, resources and major infrastructure projects; and
- be involved in the entire project life cycle from the approvals, environmental impact assessment, development, urban renewal, environmental compliance and P&E court appeals.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- at least 4 years' post admission in planning and environment law;
- experience in P&E court litigation;
- experience advising on a variety of environmental issues at both State and Commonwealth level;
- strong drafting skills and an ability to think outside the box; and
- good mentoring skills working with and delegating to junior lawyers in the team.
