About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced senior lawyer to join their thriving Insurance Division in Brisbane. This full-time position offers the opportunity to handle high-value matters for premium insurer clients. Working within a recognized team, renowned for delivering top-notch advice and service, you'll engage with diverse sectors, including:
- Public liability (Personal Injury & Property)
- Product liability
- Indemnity
- CTP
- Catastrophic claims
About You
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent degree and a valid Queensland practising certificate
- At least 6 years of post-admission experience in general insurance, particularly in handling liability claims
- Proficiency in personal injury proceedings in Queensland
- Demonstrated passion for and experience in mentoring junior lawyers
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with experts from various fields
- Exceptional initiative, dedication, and organizational abilities, coupled with a client-centric and commercially astute mindset
- A strategic and articulate approach, with a keen ability to advocate for and articulate client needs"
