About the role
Due to continued growth WesTrac are seeking an energetic and team orientated Leading Hand to be based onsite at Wilpinjong. The successful applicant will lead a crew focusing on customer satisfaction, flat rate times, technician productivity, efficiency and safety along with site housekeeping and job quality.
You will have strong drive, motivation and direction to succeed and be able to work in a safety conscious environment.
Salary & Roster
Monday to Friday. This role consists of 10 hour Shifts = 50 hour week
Hourly Rate from $54, OT rate from $81. Hourly rate is dependant on skills and experience.
Potential earnings of up to 200k per annum
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating the team's activities to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction and best practice standards, ensuring all company, quality assurance and legal requirement are adhered to
- Coordinating maintenance and repairs to earth moving componentry as required complying with manufacturer's specifications
- Accurately diagnose faults with Caterpillar equipment
- Promote and maintain a safe, clean and compliant work environment
Skills & Experience
- Mobile Plant Qualification.
- Will have to undertake an order 43 medical
- Leadership experience with the ability to build a cohesive team with a common goal
- Excellent diagnostic/fault finding skills
- Demonstrated ability to delegate tasks and organise work teams to perform repairs, maintenance and inspections on a range of customer machines
- Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements
- Supportive and "can do" attitude
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
- Dedicated to maintaining safe work practices and environment
