Plant Mechanic - Lake Cowal
Join the WesTrac team as a Plant Mechanic or Agricultural Mechanic!
Based on our customer site in Lake Cowal, a role with WesTrac will see you completing overhauls on a range of open-cut mining equipment from 789 Off-Highway Trucks through to D11 Dozers! With a key focus on customer satisfaction and safety, you will play a vital role in maintaining CAT equipment for our customer. This exciting opportunity would be well suited to those wanting to further their career and open the door to new opportunities such as Field Service roles.
Roster, Remuneration & Allowances
- 14 days on, 14 days off, 14 nights on, 14 nights off.
- One hour of travel paid each day
- All accommodation and food supplied on shift + travel to and from site
- Potential earnings from $120,000 - $140,000
- Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Qualifications + Certificate of Proficiency (Cert III Mobile Plant Technology, Cert III Agricultural Mechanical Technology, Cert III Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology)
- Proven experience in a similar role, machine overhaul experience essential
- Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment
- Forklift, Overhead Crane + Rigging tickets highly regarded
- Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements;
- A demonstrated commitment to safety and the environment
- Ability to work autonomously
