- Relevant certifications or trade qualifications in Diesel Mechanics or a related field.
- Competent in auto electrical and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Must have a valid NSW Drivers Licence and a minimum of a HR Truck Licence
Tasks & responsibilities
- Carry out service and repairs and maintenance work to utes, tippers, vans, vac-trucks, heavy vehicles, excavators, loaders as well as trailers and all other mechanical equipment
- Travelling for on site breakdowns
- Maintain detailed records of each machine including any maintenance, inspections or repair services performed
- Organising your own jobs and parts ordering
