Our Health Business, Cleanaway Daniels, is Australia's leading provider of medical waste services, making a safer, sustainable future possible for the healthcare sector.
We are approaching an exciting time with positive growth and EBIT and an exciting opportunity for an experienced Plant Operations Supervisor to join our Health Services Business Unit.
Based on site at Yatala, you will report to the Branch Operations Manager. Due to the nature of this role, you are required to be onsite Monday - Friday, 8 am -4 pm (flexibility is available around start and finish).
Your day will be one of high visibility with the Plant Operations, ensuring the business runs smoothly and on time.
Responsibilities:

• Manage customer-focused operations across a multi-site network, taking accountability for rectifying safety, operational and customer-led challenges.
• Optimise equipment and operational tasks to deliver productive outcomes through resource utilisation.
• Complete depot & operational inspections, audits and safety leadership interactions with clients and workers.
• Manage compliances with Autoclave and Boiler, undertaking periodic temperature checks of the machinery.
• Overseeing large amounts of disposable stock provided to customers. Managing significant medical waste stock turnovers in the warehouse and handling sharps container inventory.
• Proactively lead a team of at least sixteen plant employees on rotating shifts. This includes performance management, training & development, employee engagement, and managing and monitoring compliance with Enterprise Agreements.
• Manage stakeholder relationships. Including customer contract renewals and maintenance and identifying growth opportunities.
• Partnering with the operations manager to optimise performance across the operational plant.

About you?
Previous experience in either Plant Operations, Team Leader or Shift Supervisor capacity in Logistics or Road Transport backgrounds will be highly regarded.
You have a professional and proactive demeanour with the ability to engage and lead a high-performing team and train, develop and identify staff for succession.
An astute level of professionalism, with the ability to maintain a proactive outlook in driving business outcomes. Maintain a proactive and engaging attitude during times of working under pressure.
