AddressSynaco has partnered with an industry leading waste management company due to continued growth they are seeking a Plant Operator for their site in Lucas Heights.
Job Brief/Overview:
- Tenure: Temp to perm opportunity
- Days & Hours: Start time will be 6am to 2 pm until the site training has been completed then will move to 8am to 4 pm
- Pay rate: $40.41p.h + Super
Duties:
- Operating material Handler and Front End Loader
- Loading Trucks /Grinding Green Waste
- Will also have to sort on the picking station when rotating staff around.
- Maintain a professional image and deliver high quality customer service at all times
- Excavate, load, transport soil, gravel and other materials to compact and/or cover waste in accordance with company/contractual requirements and applicable regulations
- Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations
Desirable:
- Experience in the waste industry
Ideal candidate:
- Good work ethic, understand importance of turning up to work
- Experience in operating earth moving equipment (Essential)
- Commitment to safety
- Self-motivated
- Mechanical aptitude
