Are you an experienced Operator looking for a challenging and rewarding role? Join our team at Veolia and play a crucial part in the operation and maintenance of the energy assets at the Barangaroo precinct on Darling Harbour! These energy assets include a recycled water plant, district cooling and embedded network.

What you'll be responsible for
- Operating and maintaining the cutting-edge recycled water plant, district cooling and embedded network.
- Monitor plant operations, optimise performance, conduct continuous improvement practices and carry out routine maintenance duties.
- Undertake fault finding practices and run diagnostics
- Be the point of contact and supervise subcontractors onsite.
- Capture all relevant maintenance data in Veolia’s Asset Management System.
- Ensuring quality workmanship on all jobs
- Drive the ‘Always Safe’ Culture
What you'll need to be successful
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a technical role.
- Familiarity with working in an industrial setting. Experience in energy infrastructure is highly regarded (air conditioning, industrial processing).
- Trade qualification in Air Conditioning, Mechanical or Electrical field is desirable.
- Proficient computer and software skills.
- A working knowledge and understanding of mechanical and/or electrical equipment.
- Current drivers licence with reliable transport.
- Be confident to work unsupervised in an autonomous role.
- Display a high regard for health and safety.
